RUFFA MAE QUINTO is one of the most bankable stars today. She even started to produce her own movies which were all box office hits.
Ruffa Mae started in "That's Entertainment" in 1986. There, she honed her skills in acting, singing, and hosting. Ruffa Mae was then given the break in the movie "Gloria, Gloria Labandera". Ruffa Mae Quinto is also widely known as "Booba" or "Boobita", both title of her own movies. Ruffa Mae doesn't only possesses a beautiful and sexy body but also she has the sense of humor and she delivers it very well. That talent of Ruffa Mae has given her the break to star in many big comedy movies. She is also one of the mainstays in the longest running comedy gag show in TV "Bubble Gang" in GMA-7. Due to her extra-ordinary talent, Ruffa Mae was awarded the Best Comedy Actress in three different years during the 16th, 20th and 22nd PMPC Star Awards for TV (that's year 2002, 2006 and 2008 respectively). Ruffa Mae is scheduled to do various movies for 2009 and 2010. She just finished "Status: Single" for 2009 and there are other movies that are still lined up for her. "Sweet Papa", "Booba Meets Boobita" and "Ang Tanging Ina: OFW" are the movies lined up for her in 2009 and "Manay Po 3" is scheduled for 2010. |
